$1,500 Girls on Campus She Leads Scholarship Opens for 2026–2027 Applications in the U.S.

Students from underrepresented backgrounds seeking higher education in the United States can now apply for the Girls on Campus She Leads Scholarship 2026–2027, which offers $1,500 in financial assistance to support academic success and leadership development.

The scholarship is designed to recognize students who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership potential, resilience, and a strong commitment to serving their communities. Organizers say the initiative aims to reduce financial barriers while empowering the next generation of leaders and advocates for educational equity.

Successful applicants will receive $1,000, paid directly to their accredited U.S. college or university to cover tuition or institutional fees, while the remaining $500 will be paid directly to the recipient for educational and related expenses.

The scholarship is open to high school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students who plan to enroll at a U.S.-accredited college or university in Fall 2027. Eligible applicants include women, gender nonconforming individuals, and allies from underrepresented communities such as Hispanic or Latino, African American, Asian, Middle Eastern, and Native American backgrounds.

Notably, the program is open regardless of citizenship or immigration status, allowing applications from U.S. citizens, permanent residents, international students, DACA recipients, and undocumented students.

Applicants must submit a 250–500 word essay discussing the challenges faced by women of color in higher education, while highlighting their leadership experiences, personal growth, and plans to create positive change in their communities.

Selection will be based on academic achievement, financial need, leadership potential, community involvement, personal development, and the quality of the submitted essay.

The application deadline is November 25, 2026. Interested students are encouraged to review the eligibility requirements carefully and submit all required documents before the deadline.
