The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) taught that a person's main concern should be preparing for the Hereafter rather than becoming overly attached to worldly matters.
According to a narration from Anas ibn Malik, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
> “Whoever makes the Hereafter his primary concern, Allah will place contentment and richness in his heart, organize his affairs, and worldly provisions will come to him with ease. But whoever makes worldly life his main concern, Allah will place poverty before his eyes, scatter his affairs, and he will receive only what has already been decreed for him.”
The hadith is recorded in Sunan al-Tirmidhi (No. 2465) and was graded authentic (Sahih) by Muhammad Nasiruddin al-Albani.
