Prophet ﷺ: Dhikr After Fajr Earns the Reward of a Complete Hajj and Umrah

According to Anas ibn Malik, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

> “Whoever performs the Fajr prayer in congregation, then remains seated remembering Allah until sunrise, and afterwards prays two rak'ahs, will receive a reward similar to that of a complete Hajj and Umrah.”

The Prophet ﷺ emphasized this reward by repeating:

> “Complete, complete, complete.”

This narration is recorded in Sunan al-Tirmidhi (Hadith 586) and was graded Hasan (good) by Al-Tirmidhi.

Islamic scholar Al-Tibi explained that the comparison serves as encouragement for believers, highlighting the immense reward Allah grants to those who engage in remembrance after Fajr until sunrise before performing two units of prayer.

Lesson: Consistently attending Fajr in congregation, engaging in dhikr after prayer, and performing two rak'ahs after sunrise are simple acts of worship that carry tremendous spiritual rewards.
