Dua for the deceased in Arabic for female

Dua for the deceased in Arabic for female.

In Islam, making du‘a (supplication) for the deceased is one of the greatest acts of kindness and mercy a Muslim can offer to someone who has passed away. After death, a person’s deeds come to an end, but the prayers of the living can still benefit them. Muslims ask Allah to forgive the sins of the deceased, grant them mercy, widen their grave, and admit them into Paradise.

When someone dies, family members, friends, and the Muslim community recite special supplications asking Allah to have mercy on the deceased.
These du‘as are commonly recited during Salatul Janazah (funeral prayer) and also after burial or whenever the deceased is remembered.

The main purpose of these supplications is to ask Allah to:

Forgive the sins of the deceased

Grant them mercy and peace in the grave

Protect them from the punishment of the grave

Admit them into Jannah (Paradise)

Replace their worldly life with something better in the hereafter

For a female deceased, the wording of the du‘a changes slightly in Arabic to reflect feminine pronouns, such as saying “Allahumma ighfir laha warhamha” meaning “O Allah, forgive her and have mercy on her.”

Making du‘a for the deceased is a sign of love, remembrance, and compassion.
It reminds Muslims about the reality of death and encourages them to pray for their loved ones who have returned to Allah.

🤲 Short example:
Allahumma ighfir laha warhamha
Meaning: “O Allah, forgive her and have mercy on her.”

Here is a du‘a for a deceased female in Arabic that is commonly recited in Islam:

Meaning (English):
“O Allah, forgive her, have mercy on her, pardon her and grant her safety. Honor her place of rest, widen her entrance, wash her with water, snow and ice, and cleanse her of sins as a white garment is cleansed of dirt. Replace her home with a better home, her family with a better family, admit her into Paradise, and protect her from the punishment of the grave and the punishment of the Fire.”
