Vivo’s unannounced Y600K Turbo smartphone has appeared on the Google Play Console Supported Devices List, suggesting that its official launch could be approaching.
The device is listed with model number V2553A and device code PD2553. Interestingly, the same identifiers are associated with the Vivo Y600 Turbo, which was launched in China in May. This has led to speculation that the Y600K Turbo could be a rebranded version of the existing model, potentially with different RAM, storage and colour options.
According to the Google Play Console listing, the Vivo Y600K Turbo is expected to feature a display with a 1,260 × 2,800-pixel resolution and 480dpi screen density. It is listed with Qualcomm’s SM7635 chipset and a CPU clock speed of up to 2.80GHz, suggesting it could use either the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 or Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor.
The listing also points to a 12GB RAM variant and indicates that the smartphone could run Android 16 out of the box.
The Vivo Y600K Turbo is rumoured to launch in China alongside the Vivo Y500K, with an October launch reportedly possible. Vivo has not yet officially confirmed the device or announced a launch date.
For comparison, the Vivo Y600 Turbo launched in China with a starting price of CNY 2,299 (approximately Rs. 32,000) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model. It features a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, up to 12GB RAM, up to 512GB storage, a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50-megapixel main camera and a large 9,000mAh battery supporting 90W wired fast charging.
