Two Children Among Four Killed in Israeli Drone Strikes on Gaza

At least four Palestinians have been killed and several others injured in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian health officials.

Three people, including two children, were killed and eight others wounded in an Israeli drone strike on Tuesday morning in the al-Kateeba district, west of Gaza City, a medical source at al-Shifa Hospital told Al Jazeera.

Al Jazeera correspondent Hani Mahmoud, reporting from Gaza City, said he observed at least 13 drones operating in the area during the attack. He said the strikes continued for about 35 minutes, with several drones flying at a dangerously low altitude.

The correspondent also reported that security personnel on the ground said they had spotted a group of special forces and exchanged fire with them, describing the situation as chaotic amid the intense aerial attacks.

In central Gaza, another Israeli strike in Deir el-Balah killed at least one person, according to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

The Israeli military said it had attacked several targets in Gaza, claiming the strikes were intended to eliminate threats to its forces.

Israeli television Channel 12 reported that explosions were heard across the Gaza Strip, while the Palestinian Quds news network said missiles and quadcopter drones were used during the attacks.

According to Al Jazeera, Israel has killed at least 1,320 Palestinians and injured more than 4,300 since the ceasefire in Gaza took effect in October 2025.
