The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2026 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) Internal.
According to NECO, 84.70 per cent of candidates obtained at least five credits, regardless of their performance in English Language and Mathematics.
Candidates can check their results online by following these steps:
1. Visit the official NECO result-checking portal at results.neco.gov.ng.
2. Select 2026 as the examination year.
3. Select SSCE Internal as the examination type.
4. Enter the NECO result-checking token. Candidates without a token can purchase one through the official portal.
5. Enter the correct NECO registration number.
6. Click “Check Result” to view the result.
Candidates are advised to carefully verify their registration number and result-checking token before submitting their details.
Those experiencing difficulties should ensure that they have selected the correct examination year and examination type, as well as a stable internet connection.
