Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Series Spotted on Google Play Console Ahead of Expected Launch

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab S12 series has appeared on Google Play Console’s supported devices list, providing further evidence that the new tablets are nearing their official launch.

The lineup is expected to include two models: the Galaxy Tab S12+ and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra. Google Play Console lists five variants of the Tab S12+ and three variants of the Tab S12 Ultra.

The Wi-Fi-only Galaxy Tab S12+ carries the codename “gts12pwifi” and model number SM-X840, while the Wi-Fi-only Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is listed under the codename “gts12uwifi” with model number SM-X940.

Samsung previously confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S12 series would be unveiled during the second half of 2026, although the company has not announced an exact launch date.

The previous Galaxy Tab S11 series was introduced in September 2025. Based on that release schedule, Samsung could unveil the Galaxy Tab S12 lineup around September this year.
