Prince Harry and Meghan to Move Back to the UK

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, are set to move back to the United Kingdom with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, Buckingham Palace has confirmed.

The couple, who stepped down as senior working royals in 2020 and later relocated to California, will continue to live as private citizens and will not resume official royal duties.

The reported move is expected to take place before the children begin the new school year in September, although the Palace has not announced a specific date.

Harry and Meghan’s return comes amid signs of improving relations between Harry and his father, King Charles III. The King recently met his grandchildren during the family’s visit to Britain, marking the first time he had seen them since 2022.

Their departure from Britain in 2020 followed growing tensions within the Royal Family. Harry has previously spoken publicly about difficulties surrounding his relationship with his father and elder brother, Prince William, as well as concerns over his family’s security in the UK.

Despite the strained relationship, Harry has repeatedly said he did not walk away from his family or the monarchy.

The Palace said King Charles welcomed the opportunity to see more of the Sussex family following their decision to relocate.
