Russia, Ukraine Exchange Fresh Strikes as Casualties Mount on Both Sides.

He also said a maritime terminal in Russia's Krasnodar region and an oil refinery in Volgograd were among the targets.

Meanwhile, Russia's Defence Ministry said its forces struck a vessel carrying military cargo near Ukraine's Black Sea port of Odesa. Moscow also claimed its troops had made further advances in parts of the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions.

The continuing attacks have also raised concerns over global food supplies. Russia's Union of Grain Exporters and Producers warned that increased fighting in the Black Sea could disrupt grain export routes, potentially driving up food prices and affecting developing countries that depend on wheat imports.
